WaterWorld Middle East and co-located Power-Gen Middle East conferences and exhibition will now be taking place on February 6-8th 2012, instead of the original date of October 24-26th. Please add this new date to your diaries.
The move is due to the preference of the local partners and it will also allow PennWell to host the events in Qatar’s new, state of the art facility:
Under the Patronage of His Excellency, Dr. Mohamed bin Saleh Al-Sada, Minister of Energy and Industry, Qatar, WaterWorld Middle East will celebrate its 1st anniversary from 6-8 February 2012 at Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) in Doha, Qatar. WaterWorld Middle East has been rescheduled to 2012 to take advantage of this new state-of-the-art venue which boasts world-first green-technology, iconic design and cutting edge facilities.
Set to become the region’s premier conference programme dedicated to the water industry, WaterWorld Middle East will include a first-rate conference programme and comprehensive exhibition under the theme “Changing Water Solutions in Challenging Times”.
The new venue will have the benefit of numerous conference rooms, with a capacity ranging from 70 to 160. The date change will also enable us to fully develop the conference and allow more time to invite high calibre speakers from the region.
Following the date change confirmation, conference manager Samantha Malcolm will be getting in touch with everyone who submitted an abstract, as well as committee members if they have agreed to invite speakers.
The change in date for the event will enable Pennwell and the committee more time to develop what will become a leading event for the water and wastewater industries in the region.
