Kawther Al-Zo’ubi is a development practitioner by profession and a philomath by passion, who is also a highly motivated and result oriented researcher with twelve years’ experience of working in different but related domains, namely: projects management; M&E; cluster development; engaging with multi-stakeholders initiatives and coordinating among wide range of local and international agencies.
In 2005, Kawthar was awarded a merit-based scholarship for high-achieving students from her alma mater to attain a master degree in Business and Information Technology from Kingston University in London, UK. Retuned to be a university instructor for 3 years. Thereafter and for next 8 years, she was a team member then later team leader for the National Competitiveness Team at the Ministry of Planning and International cooperation. In 2016, she worked as an EU Affairs Officer within the Ministry of Justice.
In 2006 she was the TIME’s Person of the Year. Admittedly “You” also were the TIME’s Person of 2006, particularly whoever shared their knowledge via Internet for free.
Lastly but not the least, Kawther joined ACWUA’s team in August 2017 as General Secretary’s Executive Secretary and also responsible for quality management along with evaluation and monitoring.
